The terms your charter is booked under
These terms apply to charters booked with Rent a Yacht Phuket. Booking a charter means accepting them. They sit alongside our cancellation policy, which covers refunds and date changes.
A charter is confirmed once a deposit has been received and we have acknowledged the booking. The balance is due before or on the day of departure unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Prices are quoted for the whole yacht and include 7% VAT. They are not per person.
Every charter includes the captain and crew, fuel for the planned route, soft drinks and ice, fresh fruit, one kayak, one paddleboard, snorkelling equipment, life jackets, a sound system, accident insurance, marina entry fees, towels and VAT.
Island and national park entry fees where they apply, taxi transfers to and from the marina, and lunch or catering, which is quoted separately.
The maximum number of guests for each yacht is fixed by its safety certification and cannot be exceeded, including children. Guest numbers given at booking must be accurate.
The captain has final authority on all matters of safety, including the route, the anchorages, the timing, and whether a charter departs at all. Guests must follow crew instructions at all times.
The captain may refuse boarding to, or end the charter for, any guest who is intoxicated to a degree that presents a risk, or whose behaviour endangers others. No refund is due in that case.
Children are welcome on every yacht and are counted within the guest maximum. They remain the responsibility of their accompanying adults throughout, including in the water.
Guests may bring their own alcohol aboard. Consumption is at your own risk and subject to the captain's authority above.
Personal belongings are brought aboard at your own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property, including items lost overboard or damaged by water.
Guests are responsible for damage caused to the yacht or its equipment by their party beyond ordinary wear.
Accident insurance is carried for guests aboard. It does not extend to personal belongings, medical costs beyond its stated limits, or activities undertaken ashore. We recommend your own travel insurance.
We may photograph charters for our own marketing. Tell us before departure if you would prefer not to appear, and we will not use images of your group.
These terms are governed by the law of Thailand.
